From major medical centers to specialized offices, healthcare concerns across the world rely on LibertyNET to manage critical information. In this age of regulation, electronic management of data is increasingly important. Whether you’re trying to improve access to patient records or adhering to strict FDA requirements, LibertyNET can help.
HIPAA
In accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), LibertyNET delivers the power to securely control access to all information stored within the system. Security rights are defined specifically for groups, users, folders and documents. Using an object-based security model with special features for documents, the LibertyNET system allows for the assignment of security rights and access to information to all users on a need-to-know basis.
FDA Compliance
LibertyNET enables FDA-regulated companies in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and other GxP industry environments to eliminate manual paper processes and expedite change cycles, providing huge time reductions in document approval cycles
Award-Winning Technology

LibertyNET received the “Best
Bang for the Buck Award” in U.S. Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for Healthcare by the prestigious firm Frost & Sullivan. According to Frost, Liberty IMS is one of the few organizations to recognize the potential of the EDMS market for healthcare, and is among the fastest growing and fundamentally strong companies in this sector.
Healthcare settings in the United States are currently undergoing budget constraints and most end users are looking for an EDMS solution that is comprehensive in functions and affordable at the same time.
"Liberty IMS has a broad approach toward EDMS markets and focuses on providing customized information management solutions to clients by involving them in the product development," says Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Natesh S. Kare. "This strategy makes its flagship platform, LibertyNET, the suitable combination of EDMS utilities for healthcare clients, and at an affordable price."
Healthcare settings generate a huge quantity of information ranging from patient demographics and disease history to claims-related and hospital administration-related information. LibertyNET can not only capture, share, and manage each of these data forms, but also can ensure regulatory compliance in order to meet the requirements of its healthcare clients.

Client: OrthoNet
Market: Healthcare
Product: LibertyNET
Challenge:
The majority of OrthoNet’s client activity was directed and received through a manual fax and printer system. Client records were manually processed by OrthoNet case handlers, and stored in traditional file cabinets, which became time-consuming, costly and inefficient. The existing procedures also restricted disaster recovery safeguards to protect vital information from loss.
Solution:
The chosen solution was LibertyNET, along with Verity’s TeleForm and fax server product. The package gave OrthoNet a leading document, fax, form processing, archival and retrieval solution. LibertyNET provided on-site installation. OrthoNet’s staff could now receive, process, archive and search for documents from multiple independent sources of access, including Windows, fax, modem and the Internet. |
