System Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer
Status: Full Time, Permanent Employee
Salary: Commensurate with experience and skill set
Liberty IMS is the developer of LibertyNET, a document software package, with a wide variety of add-on modules. Our product is runs in an enterprise environment that enables users to automate their workflow processes and become a paperless environment. We provide custom, turnkey solutions to our customers. We are looking for individuals who have previously programmed. This job does not require programming, however, your experience in developing applications would be extremely valuable!
You’ll work closely with clients or Solution Providers to design LibertyNET solutions. Qualified candidates will utilize their technical expertise, project management and problem solving skills to understand, plan, implement and rollout enterprise software solutions using the LibertyNET product. The successful individual must understand workflow in a variety of industries and be able to architect solutions with LibertyNET
Required Technical Competencies:
- DBA or equivalent experience, preferably in MSSQL; specifically writing and supporting SQL statements & triggers. (Equivalent experience with other databases will be considered)
- Experience with VB Scripting or similar scripting language.
- In-depth understanding and broad working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Windows operating systems and network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Windows security, networking, internet technologies and PC/Server hardware.
- Integration experience with line of business systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing, deploying and implementing software in one or more of the following areas: electronic document management, document imaging, process automation, workflow, digital asset management, COLD/ERM, E-Forms, forms processing, email management, collaboration, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software.
Other Technical Competencies Desired:
- SQL Database Report writing skill Access Crystal Report or similar tool.
- Hands-on experience performing network troubleshooting.
- Previous programming experience (3-5 years) in a structured environment.
Required Business Competencies:
- Extremely detail-oriented with the proven ability to create and execute plans.
- Must be a self-starter, with strong analytical, planning, research, interviewing, fact finding, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Technical Support Specialist
Liberty IMS is the developer of the LibertyNET information management system and is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to information management and document imaging needs. Our services range from high level management consulting to the delivery of custom integrated software and hardware solutions.
Liberty IMS is looking for a motivated, self starter who is willing and able to support our clients in a Technical Support Specialist position. The individual must be able to solve complex and varied customer issues related to our LibertyNET software product. In this position you will provide real-time support to Liberty’s external clients, VARs and/or vendors to identify and resolve issues.
In this role you will utilize technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to ensure that customer problems are clearly identified, documented and resolved with either a software release or workaround. You will be a customer advocate who will communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner. Typical tasks include, research, testing, application configuration, system documentation, and user training.
The successful candidate will ensure that client issues are accurately duplicated, documented, prioritized and escalated. Qualified candidates will utilize their technical expertise and troubleshooting skills in this position.
Position Requirements:
- Recent hands-on experience supporting business software applications. (Installation or support experience with applications such as Word, Excel & Powerpoint DO NOT qualify. Application experience should be with information management/workflow or document management systems)
- Expertise with the Windows2003 server and workstation operating systems.
- Hands-on, working knowledge of MS SQL or Oracle. (You do not have to be a DBA, but experience with SQL or Oracle must be in a PRODUCTION environment)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills; ability to identify & solve problems.
- Customer service focus & a “can do” attitude!
- Excellent written verbal & communication skills; writing samples will be requested; ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Must be able to work productively in a team environment.
- Experience with call management systems.
- Occasional travel required.
Additional skills strongly desired:
- Hands-on experience deploying and customizing enterprise application software.
- Installation and configuration experience withCardiff Teleform Software.

Professional Services Specialist
Liberty IMS is looking to add a key senior member of our Professional Services team. In this position you will work closely with clients or vendors to provide solutions in information management. Qualified candidates will utilize their technical expertise and problem solving skills to undertake a very broad range of tasks involving pre and post sales technical support, customer service and professional consulting services.
It is a MANDATORY requirement for applicants seeking this position to have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as a background in the Microsoft Windows (95 or 98 or NT) operating systems. Experience in customer technical support is essential.
It is HIGHLY DESIRABLE for applicants to also have proven skills in some of the following: Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SQL Server, any database management, TCP/IP, HTML, Java, Novell Netware and/or Unix. Previous experience in Document Imaging or Information Management would be very highly regarded.
