Seamless e-forms management allows for
improved indexing, searching |
The E-Forms Module provides an electronic data capture interface into the LibertyNET Enterprise system using XML forms. It is delivered as another integrated object component of the LibertyNET Application Builder (LAB).
An example E-Forms implementation is a 3rd party healthcare claims processor combining E-Forms with captured claim images to en-code medical treatments for Medicare reimbursement. In this example, the E-Forms module drives significant cost savings and process improvement for the processor, including:
- Support for remote medical treatment encoding on site with the patient
- Acceleration in reimbursement payments
- Accuracy improvements in claims management, reducing fraud and errors
The E-Forms Module: LAB Object and E-Formizer
When the E-Form module is activated, an E-Forms object becomes available in the Liberty Application Builder. The E-Forms object works in conjunction with the Overlay object to support the creation, display, and selection of E-forms from the thin client interface. The E-Forms module is based on XML/XSL and the LibertyNET web client implementation. A sample template/overlay combination is included with the module to help in getting started.
In addition, an E-Formizer option is added to the list of available utilities. LibertyNET E-Forms support the use of multiple third party tools for form design with the E-Formizer option. Simply drag and drop an existing HTML form file from a third party tool into the E-Formizer window. The result is auto-generation of a LibertyNET E-Forms compatible XSL template file.
